The Montana Head Start Association advocates for policies and approaches that support young children’s ability to thrive. By supporting Early Head Start and Head Start programs, families and communities ability to support children.
We have a special mission to support Montana’s most vulnerable children.
In order to support children, we stand for:
High quality early learning that readies children for school
Supporting the whole children, including addressing health, mental health and special needs
Addressing challenges for vulnerable children who are experiencing economic instability, special needs, homelessness or are in foster care
Building family strengths and connecting to opportunities for more education, better jobs and support addressing parenting and family challenges
We also work with families and partners to build unified support for a system that helps all children grow and thrive.
